Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar, commemorated its rich heritage and enduring commitment to education by celebrating its 48th Foundation Day on Wednesday, 16th July 2025, in the school auditorium, ‘Takshshila’, with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Built on values, powered by vision,  the school stands as a beacon of learning. Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar, commemorated its rich heritage and enduring commitment to education by celebrating its 48th Foundation Day on Wednesday, 16th July 2025, in the school auditorium, ‘Takshshila’, with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event marked not only a historic milestone but also a tribute to the visionary founders and generations of educators and learners who shaped the institution’s legacy.

The much-awaited day began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed members of the School Management Committee, including Hon. Secretary CA Amit Gattani, Building Secretary Mr. Sumit Kabra, SMC members Mr. Amit Soni and Ms. Aruna Gagrani, Principal Mr. Ashok Vaid, and Vice Principal Mr. D.D.Pathak and SMC members in the Saraswati Temple of the school followed by a school prayer. The presence of the chief guest of the day, Shri Rajesh Maheshwari, Joint Commissioner, GST, State Tax, Rajasthan, and the Guest of Honour, Shri Anil Somani, an Eminent Businessman and Social Worker graced the ceremony.

The dignitaries were given a floral welcome with a shawl, a safa and a memento. The Honourable Secretary of the school addressed the august gathering and presented the school’s vision. He said that their vision is to nurture young minds through value-based, holistic education that empowers students to think critically, act ethically, and grow into confident, responsible global citizens. The Principal read out the Academic report. He reflected on the school’s journey from its modest beginnings to becoming a beacon of excellence in academics, discipline, and holistic development. The meritorious students were felicitated with trophies and certificates. Then there was the launching of the Incubation Centre Brochure.

The program featured a variety of cultural performances by students, including Vandana, danceorchestra and a skit that beautifully portrayed the school’s transformation over the decades. The program ended with the Vote of Thanks by the Head Boy & Head Girl of the school followed by National Anthem.

The celebration was a fitting reminder of the school’s glorious past, vibrant present, and promising future, reinforcing the belief that while buildings and systems may change, the spirit of education and excellence endures.
